Cantor Jenna Kramarow joined Temple Beth Torah Sha'aray Tzedek, located in Tamarac, FL, in the spring of 2017. She was ordained by The H.L. Miller Cantorial School and received a Master of Education from The William Davidson Graduate School, at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, in May 2014. She had the privilege of studying in Israel for a year as part of her cantorial studies. During her time at JTS, she taught fifth religious school at Ansche Chesed in New York City; served as Cantor for the High Holy Days at Ahavath Achim-Hebrew Congregation in Wichita, Kansas; and served as the Cantorial Intern of Temple Beth Rishon in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Following graduation, she served as Hazzan Sheni and Youth and Family Programming Director at Temple Beth El in West Palm Beach, Florida from 2014-2017.
Cantor Kramarow started studying both piano and voice at a young age. She grew up leading services and singing in both the youth and adult choirs, at Temple Beth El in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 3rd grade Cantor Kramarow knew she wanted to be a cantor and began her studies at the Bach Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts where she majored in classical voice.
Cantor Kramarow holds a Bachelor of Arts in classical voice (Magna cum Laude) from the School of Music at Florida State University, where she was the recipient of a music scholarship, and was admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. While at Florida State University she also received a minor in religion. Cantor Kramarow was honored to be a KOACH intern, music chair, and president of Hillel during her time at Florida State University. While studying at Florida State University she served as Music Leader at Temple Israel, Camp Shalom, in Tallahassee, Florida. She also taught Hebrew school for one academic year at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Tallahassee, Florida.
Cantor Kramarow resides in Royal Palm Beach, Florida with her husband Adam Kramarow and 3-year-old daughter, Brynn Vivianne. She is very passionate about Cantorial music and Jewish education and aims to be an example for the community and to enrich everyone's life by sharing her joy and love for Judaism through music and prayer.
