RABBI RAMI PAVOLOTZKY

Rabbirami@tbtst.org  |  (954) 721-7660, ext.123

Rabbi Rami Pavolotzky knows how to bring joy and warmth to congregational Jewish life. Having been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a rabbi in two very different settings, Central America and Central Pennsylvania, he has learned how to adapt to different audiences and places, and how to successfully bring a congregation together.

Rabbi Rami was ordained as a rabbi in 2003 at the Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano Marshal T. Meyer in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He earned a Master’s Degree in Jewish Studies specializing in Talmud and Halacha (Jewish law) at the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, Israel, in 2004. He graduated from the Senior Educators Program at The Melton Center for Jewish Education of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2004. He obtained a degree in Physical Sciences from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2001.

Rabbi Rami is married to Rabbi Daniela Szuster. Together they led Congregation B’nei Israel in San Jose, Costa Rica (2004-20015) and Temple Beth El of Lancaster, Pennsylvania (2015-2022). Since 2022 they are co-rabbi at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek in Tamarac, Florida. They have three children.

Rabbi Rami collaborated with four other rabbis, including Rabbi Daniela, to publish Comentarios de la Parasha 5768 (Torah portion commentaries) with UJCL Press in 2008.

In 2015, Rabbis Daniela and Rami published two books together – “Shiron B’nei Israel,” a songbook with almost 100 Hebrew songs, which was transliterated and translated into both Spanish and English, and “Ten Years of Torah at B’nei Israel,” a compilation of their sermons, commentaries, and articles.
